The Pretender Rebirth is a TV show, drama novel by The Pretender creators Steven Long Mitchell and Craig W. Van Sickle, the first of a promised series of novels answering questions left unanswered in The Pretender TV series. It will be the first of its kind to be produced by The Pretender creators and therefore there are as yet no awards, or notable adaptations. The major themes of the novel have not been officially announced but will definitely be related to the main character of The Pretender TV series, Jarod and his quest to find his family, as well as the backstory for other characters in the show.
Plot
The plot of Rebirth has not been disclosed in much detail. Several new characters have been revealed but the exact nature of their interaction with Jarod in the novel will be revealed when the book is released. New characters named thus far are Kaj, O'Quinn, Nathalie, Chaz, Skylar, Daphne and Mr. Zane.
Major themes
The major themes of the novel have not been officially disclosed but all preview information suggests the themes will be related to Jarod and his quest to find his family. Other themes will be based on the development of more backstory for other characters in the show such as Miss Parker and Sydney.
