Spin Doctor is the tenth episode of the fourth season of The Pretender which first aired February 5, 2000 on NBC in the United States.
This episode is one of The Pretender/Profiler crossover episodes.

Jarod investigates the death of the man who saved his life by offering him a ride that cemented his freedom from the Centre on the night he escaped. Jarod ends up working with a Profiler, Rachel, who turns out to not be the same woman he worked with previously, to his relief. After, they solve the murder, Rachel offers her friendship to Jarod.
Baby Parker is under observation by the doctor. Sydney discovers Centre lies go way back impacting his personal life and goes slightly beserk. Miss Parker finds out that her father Mr. Parker had a role in Syd's situation since he was at the helm of the Centre when the events unfolded. Mr. Parker however blames it on Triumvirate orders but makes some amends in reuniting Syd with his former student, whom, it turns out, has been alive all the time.
