Parole is the sixth episode of the third season of The Pretender which first aired November 21, 1998 on NBC in the United States.

It features the second appearance of Leigh Taylor-Young as Sydney's love interest Michelle Lucca Stamatis and Darren Kennedy as his son Nicholas Stamatis. Miss Parker is absent from this episode.

Summary

Jarod pretends to be a prisoner on parole to deal retribution on a crooked parole officer,  who was blackmailing his parolees or would write them up for parole violation if they did not do exactly what he asked them to do.

Jarod also brings justice to the family of a paroled prisoner who died as a result of actions of the corrupt officer. This episode is the only one in which Miss Parker is noticeably absent.
