Parole is the sixth episode of the third season of The Pretender which first aired November 21, 1998 on NBC in the United States.
It features the second appearance of Leigh Taylor-Young as Sydney's love interest Michelle Lucca Stamatis and Darren Kennedy as their son Nicholas Stamatis. Miss Parker is absent from this episode.
Summary[]
Jarod pretends to be a criminal on parole called Jarod Barker. His objective is to deal retribution on Jack Brevins, a crooked parole officer who blackmails his parolees by threatening to write them up for parole violation if they fail to do exactly what he asks them to - which usually consists of committing crimes for Jack's profit.
Jarod also brings justice to the family of Bobby Harmon, an ex-prisoner who died as a result of this corrupt officer's actions. This episode is the only one in which Miss Parker is has a credited non-appearance.

This is the one episode of all in The Pretender where Andrea Parker does not appear in her role as Miss Parker. The credits still show her name.
Jarod has extensive tattoos which he shows off in the opening scenes. One of the tattoos is of his name on his torso along with the graphic.
This is one of several episodes where Sydney and Jarod meet up face to face.
